The People Behind

We’ve been dreaming of moving to Spain and opening a Bed & Breakfast (or something like it) ever since we met—nearly 15 years ago! We always knew we would do it one day. The only question was: when?

In May 2022, our daughter Nora was born, and that moment set everything into motion. We asked ourselves: do we let her grow up in the Netherlands—go to school, make friends—and then move her to Spain once she’s old enough to truly notice? Do we wait until retirement? Or… is now the time?

For us, the answer was crystal clear: we go now.
Our motto: Better to regret something you did than to regret never having done it at all.

By August of that year, we were already emailing real estate agents in Spain. Fast forward to June 2024—we made an offer on a house in beautiful Sayalonga. And now, here we are.

After nearly nine months of renovations, we’re finally open—and excited to welcome our guests to this special place we’ve made our home.
